Breakdowns and traffic fines

If you have taken out our Full insurance, our coverage will include the management of fines (30 €), although the payment of the traffic ticket itself is excluded. If, however, you have not taken out our Full insurance, both the management cost of the fine (30 €) and the payment of the traffic ticket will be your responsibility.

What should I do if the car breaks down?

If the vehicle suffers a breakdown and is in no condition to be driven, please contact our offices (Calahonda: +34 952 93 44 12 or +34 615 66 88 81, Riviera del Sol: +34 952 93 97 38 or +34 667 56 55 27) and we will send our road assistance out to you as soon as possible.

Which documents must I bring when picking up the vehicle?

To rent with Fetajo Rent a Car you must be at least 25 years old and have at least 2 years experience of driving license. At the vehicle pickup you must present the Original Documents (NO copies or photos): ID or Passport, Driving license and a Credit Card issued at the holder's name, all of them up to date.

Which documents are required to rent a car?

An identity card or passport, your driver license and a valid Credit Card

Can I select the vehicle model?

What we guarantee is the car group (cars with similar technical characteristics), not the model. Feel free to state in observations the type of car you prefer and, if available, we will do our best to provide it.

When and where do I have to return the car?

The car must be delivered at the place and time indicated on your contract or by our representative. Should there be any delays or schedule changes, please get in touch with us and we will rearrange the dropping time.

Can my rental period be extended?

If you wish to extend your rental, call our booking department at least 24 hours before the expiry of the contract. This is necessary so that the insurance covering the rental period does not expire.

Do the cars have a mileage limit?

No. If you hire our full insurance, our company gives you unlimited mileage

Am I responsible for fitting the baby seats and other accessories?

According to the Spanish law, it is the customer who must install and fit the additional accessories. Should an accident occur, the company does not assume any responsibilities for this installation.
